I’m extremely lucky to work with amazing people.

This year I worked on a documentary with award-winning filmmaker Helen Newman of Nomad Films about a phenomenal multi-passionate artist Kurt Saggers.

Createability 2017 is about profiling artists with disability through screen media and our film , ‘A Spiral Mind’ was one of the 11 short films funded in 2017. Supported by Screenworks and ABC, the project was such an amazing opportunity to learn about art, mental illness and disability. Learning about Kurt’s art and mental health journey has been amazing and inspiring. I’m extremely grateful to be involved in the project and work with these two amazing people whom I admire and inspire me.

Synopsis: Kurt digs for discarded pottery relics in bushland around his home. His mental health journey led him to jewellery making. He now turns these found objects into modern day treasures.
