Terms & Conditions including Refund Policy

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

  1. Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord (ABN 48 997 423 619) strives to make each and every workshop a success for their clients. However, at times, events beyond our control make that impossible. Accordingly, there may at times be a situation arising which makes it necessary to cancel or modify a workshop.
  2. Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord assumes and incurs no liability as a result of any weather event, war, unrest, political confrontation or other act of God which may occur anywhere in the world that may impact this workshop. Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord has no liability for any events over which they do not have direct control and may alter or influence. Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord reserves the right to substitute venues and make any changes in the workshop. Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord is charged with ensuring the best interest of its clients and does everything reasonably expected to ensure their safety and well-being. However, Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord is not responsible for any costs or expenses and will not refund any workshop payments nor is Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord further liable for any other workshop preparation expenses, including air tickets, visas, medical expenses or any other costs incurred in preparing for said workshop.
  3. Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord is not responsible for any issues due allergic reactions to foods or related illnesses.
  4. Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord has the right to refuse service to any individual. This refusal of service could be based on personality conflicts, complaints from other participants, safety concerns or an understanding by Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord staff that the photo workshop may be too physically challenging for any particular individual. This policy can be enacted at any time prior to a workshop commencement.

 

Refund & Cancellations

Photography Workshops:

  1. 100% of the workshop cost is payable to secure the booking.
  2. If a client cancels a booking, payment is refundable up to 72 hrs before the commencement of the workshop unless the client finds a replacement person in which case 100% refund of monies paid will be provided.
  3. If a client cancels a booking within 72 hrs before the commencement of the workshop, 50% of the monies will be refunded unless the client finds a replacement person in which case 100% refund of monies paid will be provided.
  4. If Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord cancels the Workshop due to extreme or unsafe weather conditions or any other reason, participants will be able to use the monies paid for this workshop towards a future workshops.

Photography Workshops:

  1. Payments are possible via Credit cards, debit cards over Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord eCommerce service or by bank transfer.

Weather

  1. Photography workshops will proceed in all weather conditions unless in the event of extreme weather conditions, Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord deems it unsafe in which case the event will be cancelled.  This decision will be taken by 12:00 am of the morning of the workshop and participants notified by EMAIL or SMS. Unless a cancellation notification is sent out the workshop will be proceeding.

Health

  1. Participants must disclose any known medical issues, injuries, fitness concerns, allergies, food intolerances, before the start of any workshop.
  2. Participants must ensure they are in a suitable health condition to undertake the chosen workshop.
  3. Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord reserves the right to remove participants from the group for reasons that impact the enjoyment or safety of the other group members, but not limited to, the physical, medical or mental inability of participants to undertake the arrangements of the workshop, unsocial or unruly behaviour, or the carriage of prohibited substances and materials.

Photography Social Media:

  1. Participants give permission to Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord to use any images taken of them on a Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord workshop for promotional materials of Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord workshops and their website and social media channels unless client gives written evidence not to. Participants give permission to use any quotes about the workshop they send to Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord to be used on their website or promotional materials for their workshops.

Minimum Numbers of participants

  1. If a workshop requires minimum numbers to proceed, these will be publicised and advised in the description of the workshop.
  2. Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord reserves the right to cancel the workshop if these minimum numbers are not met, the participants will be provided with 24 hours’ notice minimum of cancellation if this occurs.
  3. Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord has the right to add up to 2 participants over maximum to a workshop.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

  1. Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord respects your privacy and your personal information will be used only for the correspondence with you and for the needs of Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord and workshops and newsletters.

By purchasing any workshop(s) with Manifeasto Photography / Natalie Ord you affirm that you have fully read and understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions, Waiver and Release of Liability.
