Our 1 day workshop to Mount Buffalo is perfect for the beginner or serious amateur photographer, and you will be guided by our professional instructors to capture beautiful waterfall and landscape images over the course of the day.
We will meet at Heiners Bakery, Myrtleford at 9:00am and then drive up to Mount Buffalo, stopping on the way at Ladies Bath Falls, lunch at Lake Catani, photographing the amazing Cathedral, then heading to the Mount Buffalo Chalet. For this workshop you will need your own transport, lunch, snacks and refreshments. Car pooling can be arranged if required.
Ladies Bath Falls is a great destination for taking waterfall images, the falls are easy to access (only a 5 minute walk from the road), and generally there are few people there in the morning. Please bring along your tripod and ND filters, if you have them. There will be a couple of ND filter sets available for everyone to try from Formatt Hitech.
After the falls, we will travel further up the mountain stopping at Lake Catani for lunch and more photo taking, and then we will head up to the Cathedral and The Sentinal for some amazing photos of these rock formations, and the surrounding landscape.
After that we will travel to Mount Buffalo chalet where we will check out this beautiful old building and the surrounding landscape.
All participants will receive an 11″ x 14″ fine art print of one of their images taken from the workshop. Images will be printed by Dirk from Create Network on Ilford fine art paper, and will be mailed to participants within 2 weeks after the workshop concludes.
