Autumn is my favourite season. The days are warm, nights cool and the light that was harsh in the summer, softens and illuminates all that it strikes in a way that makes you feel that you’re seeing it for the first time. North East Victoria is lucky to have a distinct autumn season and diverse landscapes from the mountains to the river flats. Interspersed within these landscapes are some of the best wineries in the world. Some of these wineries were a part of the annual Tastes of Rutherglen event which showcases the magnificent wine and food of our region. I was commissioned by the Winemakers of Rutherglen to capture the event.
